- Trailers for RIB boats (boats with a rigid bottom and inflatable sides) have a platform with a rigid frame, soft supports and special fasteners for fixing RIB boats.
- Trailers for canoes, and kayaks have a narrow, long platform with straps and fasteners for securing this type of vessel.
