To weld the gate frame, you can use metal pipes. But it is better to use a T-profile. It is lighter and stronger.
In addition to it, it is better to use T-corners. With them, you will not need to cut the T-profile at exactly 45˚ and weld it together. It will be enough to cut it at approximately 90˚ and insert the corners.
