T-system is a modern design solution from Ukrainian manufacturer SP Premier for the production of sliding gate frames, wickets, and other metal structures. The system consists of a steel T-profile and special T-connectors (T-corners), which allow you to quickly, accurately, and reliably weld a rigid frame. This technology simplifies production, reduces the weight of the structure, and increases its durability.

T-profile is a specially rolled profile pipe with a complex shape, which has the shape of a bold letter «T» in cross-section. This shape ensures optimal load distribution, high bending stiffness, and stability of the geometry of the entire structure. The T-profile is designed to replace the classic «pair» of 60×40 mm and 20×20 mm or 20×30 mm pipes, which were usually welded together to obtain additional bending stiffness and manufacture frames for various purposes.

When welding two pipes measuring 60×40 mm and 20×20 mm, an intermittent seam is usually used (to prevent the frame from warping due to overheating), which leaves gaps between them. If these gaps are not sealed, moisture will eventually get in, leading to the appearance of «red leaks». A T-profile is a single-piece construction, where the problem of sealing joints simply does not exist.
You do not need to take additional measurements, weld two pipes around the entire perimeter, wasting electrodes, grinding wheels, and working hours, because the ready-made geometry of the T-profile allows you to proceed directly to forming the frame.
The T-profile is lighter than the classic connection of two steel pipes, as it does not have a double wall at the joint. It also has an optimal wall thickness (usually 2 mm), which, together with its monolithic T-shape, provides high bending and torsional rigidity, which is necessary for cantilever gates 4-6 meters long, with approximately 30% less weight.
SP Premier manufactures T-profiles from structural hot-rolled pickled and passivated steel grade S235JR on an Austrian-made rolling mill. This guarantees the absence of deformations, which are often found in cheap profile pipes.
SP Premier T-connectors are corner elements that allow you to connect T-profiles at a right angle of 90 degrees without the need for curved cuts or complex markings. Simply cut the T-profile at approximately 90° and insert it into the corner T-connector to obtain a product with precise geometry.
The use of T-connectors eliminates one of the most common problems in traditional gate manufacturing — angle error. When working with conventional profile pipes, it is necessary to make 45-degree cuts or ladder-type cuts, which requires experience, additional time, and precise marking. The T-connector solves this problem instantly: even if the profile is cut at a slightly incorrect angle, the geometry of the structure will not be affected.

The main area of application for SP Premier T-profiles and T-connectors is the manufacture of frames for sliding cantilever gates with a span width of up to 4–6 meters. However, thanks to its unique shape and strength characteristics, the SP Premier T-system has long gone beyond the sliding gate segment. First, cut the T-profile pieces to the required sizes. Do not try to ensure a precise 90° cutting angle everywhere, as this does not affect the geometry of the entire structure. Then connect the T-profiles to each other using T-connectors, which help to set the correct angles and simplify assembly.
Just in case, secure the structure (with clamps, magnetic squares, or temporarily tack weld) and check the diagonals to make sure there are no distortions.
