Installation of pile foundations for:
Piles can be used on land plots with any type of soil:
Piles are not recommended in such cases:
It is recommended to calculate the required pile length L (mm) as follows.
L1 = A+L2+H, where:
A — is the depth of soil freezing in winter.
L2 — is the length of the helical winding.
H — required height of the pile flange above the ground level
SPGS F DxTxL1(L2), where:
D — pile diameter, mm
T — pile wall thickness, mm
L1 — pile length, mm
L2 — length of the helix winding
Methods of pile installation:
Piles are installed by screwing them into the ground. To screw the pile manually, after marking, it is recommended to make a vertical guide hole in the soil with any available tool (crowbar, pipe).
The diameter of the hole should not exceed the diameter of the pile to be screwed. The depth of the hole is as deep as the soil allows.
The piles are installed using a pile adapter and pipes as levers. The pile adapter is attached to the pile flange to attach the lever pipes to the pile to create torque.
It is not allowed to drive screw piles.
The process of screwing in screw piles takes much less time compared to concrete foundation methods. This can significantly reduce construction time.
The use of screw piles can significantly save on foundation construction, as it does not require significant excavation work and the use of large amounts of concrete.
Unlike classic concrete foundations, screw piles can be installed at any time of the year, regardless of weather conditions. Even in the cold.
Screw piles are able to withstand heavy loads due to their design and close contact with the ground.
They can be used for various types of buildings — from small structures to large commercial buildings.
The ground screw piles are made of hot-dip galvanized steel St3, which ensures their durability for many years.
Screw piles are ideal for construction on loose, sandy, clayey, marshy soils, areas with difficult terrain, and on the banks of water bodies.
Does not contaminate the surrounding area with concrete residues, crushed stone, sand and cement; preserves green spaces — plants and bushes on the site. Minimal impact on the environment as it does not disturb the soil ecosystem.
After installation, the screw piles are ready for further construction work without the need to wait, as in the case of concrete foundations.
